Hello! I'm not quite sure what to put here, but my favorite things include nerdfighting/being a nerd in general and escaping reality by obsessing over books (particularly ones by Neil Gaiman), music (Death Cab is my favorite forever but the Mountain Goats are up there too), and films (Pan's Labyrinth, Edward Scissorhands, and Spirited Away are all brilliant). I also enjoy making lists, yoga, tea and coffee, black and white photos, philosophy, feminism, learning new things, vegetarianism, imagining future mad scientist/ writer me living in a lighthouse with my pet dog and cat minions, depressing quotes, traveling, the nighttime sky, Harry Potter (yes I intentionally left it out from books because it deserves its own spot here), and, as you've probably figured out, rambling. (Initially I didn't have my name here because I reject such conventional forms of self-identification, but I'll mention now that my name is Victoria - although now that I've changed my url from accciobrain, this is already quite obvious - and I'm a 22 year old astrophysics (cosmology) grad student.
